We effect, inc. cooperate with a recycling factory located in Hiroshima City to select second-hand apparel by our employees, collecting used second-hand high quality garments and exporting them mainly to Southeast Asian countries. We also purchase used clothing from partner companies throughout all over Japan and sell them to overseas affiliated companies.

The overseas affiliated company divides the second-hand apparel into hundreds of categories and is distributed in the market to the local or other countries. In Japan, the concept of reuse (re-use) has taken root in recent years, but it is currently the case that many used clothing items are still incinerated. The purpose of this reuse project, which we are dealing with, is to bring this originally burned clothing to overseas and deliver it to those who need it. We believe that we have an obligation to make the earth gentler with respect to environmental problems by suppressing incineration. We feel that this reusing/recycling business, which is environmentally friendly and for the people who can not purchase new clothes, will give a cheap, yet high quality second-hand apparel and it will make everyone smile.

It is a very useful business for many people. Also, the second-hand garments in Japan are of high quality, size and design are also popular because they meet the needs of Asian nations, and the demand for people in Asian countries where the population will increase further in the future is expected to further increase . There is still a future in the reuse/recyling business of used clothing in Japan, and we hope that more smiles will be born by continuing the products that we engaged in hand to those people.

BASIC TYPE OF MATERIAL

RAW MATERIAL (CREDENTIAL)

RAW MATERIAL (CREDENTIAL) refers to used clothing collected from a general household by a municipality or a recycling company. In Japan, the culture that cherishes things is rooted, each house hold throws away clothes after washing, wears and keeps care as well, so there are many beautiful clothes with very few breaks and spots etc in terms of quality .

SR (STORE RETURN MATERIAL) – So called charity in European standard

SR (STORE RETURN MATERIAL) refers to clothes collected from large used clothing shops in Japan and recycling outlets. Since it becomes clothing which was originally sold at shops, there are no dirt and spots, and there is no garbage naturally. Because it will be collected from the store, the content is rich in variety.

Used clothing gathered at each factory becomes a bale (as shown pictures) of about
380 kg – 400 kg (by compressed machine), it will be loaded in a 40 ft container and exported.

40 ft container: about 24,000 kg ( jpn traffic law allows up to 25,000 kg.)
